NEW COMMONWEALTH LOAN. DAYLIGHT SAVING. Press Association —Copyright. (Received 11.5 a.in.) Melbourne, December 23. The prospectus has been issued of the new Commonwealth war loan of £26,123,270, being the balance of authority given to the Federal Ireasurer to borrow fifty millions. The new loan will be used for war pui* poses. A proclamation authorises the operation of daylight saving from Ist January next.
