SHEARERS ON STRIKE.
TROUBLE IN CENTRAL OTAGO. MEN WANT 3«S PER 100. Per Press Association, Dunedin, December 23. Regarding the shearing trouble at Mount Pisa Station (Central Otago), the men are standing linn in thendemands lor 27s Gd per hundred, and t'he shed is idle and sheep have been turned out. The men say that in no circumstance's will they return to work, and will only resume on their own terms. The Union secretary states that 30s per 100 is being voluntarily given at the lowcountry stations.
