FOLEY'S PICTURES. “THE IRON STRAIN.” * Tlie star picture offering for tonight at His Majesty’s Theatre will be an original and novel story of the Alaskan country entitled “The Iron Strain,” in which Dustin Farnum and Enid Nearkley are featured in the prominent roles. There are also two clever Indian characters played by reai Redskins. The story briefly is of Octuvia Van Ness, a San Francisco social butterfly who is taken to Alaska for her health, where she meets Chuck Hemmingway, She repulses his advances, and he steals the girl, enters into a forced marriage with her, and installs her in his cabin. Six months elapse, and the girl, now strong and well, is still antagonistic to Chuck, but as soon as another woman appears her jealousy is excited, and for the first time she loves her husband, and they leave the cold north for sunny California. Other films offering are the “Rathe Gazette” and a Sydney Drew comedy, “Diplomatic Henry.”
