MOTOR GARAGE DESTROYED, Per Press Association. Invercargill, December 1(1. Wood’s motor garage was totally destroyed by fire at two o’clock this morning. Over forty cars, many of which were privately owned, were burnt. The building, which was of brick, covered about a quarter of an aero in the main block, and were owned by J. Cl. Ward and Co. 'The News building was seriously threatened, intense heat breaking the skylights. The damage was about twenty thousand. The insurance are not available.
