After the secret session, the Chamber of Deputies carried a motion of confidence in M. Briand by 244 to GO.
It was resolved that, the Chamber taking note of the Government’s declaration upon the reorganisation of the high command, approves of its resolution to concentrate upon .the general conduct of the war, and is confident that the Government will make any sacrifices or efforts necessary to gain the victory.

A German official message claims the capture of the summit of Hill >lO4, west of the Meuse, and 9200 more prisoners in Roumania.
A Paris official report states that on the bank of the Meuse there has been a lively artillery struggle in the region of Hill 304, the enemy bombarding positions.

A French communique states: We drove the enemy out of the portion oi trenches he occupied on the Btb on the eastern slopes of Hill 30!, on 'be left bank of the Mouse.
