The New York Times’ Paris correspondent obtained a report of a Polish deputy’s speech at the secret session or the Reichstag and published in the Polish newspaper. Deputy Tronpezynski asseted that the Poles were being deported like the Belgians. On Ist August, 25,000 Poles were working in Germany, having been enticed to contracts, and then not being allowed to return. Many were forcibly transported to ’Germany, where employers were paying what they please. Many Tc.los were whipped until they signed renewal contracts. The frontier sentries shot several who wore attempting to escape.
