Box 152, New Plymouth, on Saturday, JGth iust., at 8.30 p.m. Tournament to be open to ( all clubs affiliated to the Taranaki ( Bowling Centre. Semi-finals and finals are to he played on the West End green. Games will he started each, 'morning at 9 o’clock sharp. The exc-. entire consists of Messrs A. K. Smart, I Fred Bellringer, and J. D. Sole. All disputes to he settled by the executive, whose decision shall be final. The banner match between Inglewood and Waitara did not eventuate, owing to the wet weather. Fitzroy defeated Wo.'t End at 1 itzroy yesterday hy 100 ’o 14.6. Owing to the inclement weather, the visiting members from New Plymouth did not make the journey to Stratiord, and the bowling match was not held. A championship match was played on the Stratford Bowling Green last evening between Dr. Paget and Mi Stan Sharp, the latter beating his opponent hy ,17 points.
