The men are like ghosts, and are having a hard time, without comfort, shelter, or rest, and are enduring the cold foul conditions following the November rains. It n a sheer light for life against natural hardships. The inhumanity of the weather seemed more impoitaut to them than the fight against the enemy. The Canadians experienced hideous adventures at Coureellette, the men in bringing up supplies tailing into ice-cold water. Ihe recent fighting was carried on, and .they were unbeaten, despite the surrounding morrass and misery. ,
