MERRY MUSICAL MAORIS.
To-morrow night, the Merry Musical Maoris are due to give their concert iu the Stratford Town Hall. If the same measure of support is accorded them as has been given elsewhere they have shown, there will bo a bumper house. To fill the big Coronation Hall to overflowing in New Plymouth to an audience who were as one of the patriotic committee remarked, “spellbound,” proves that the entertainment is a first-class one. There is not a scrap of vulgarity about any part of the show, and mothers, wives and daughter’s, can be taken to sec the Maoris without any fear of their susceptibilities being offended. On the other hand they will appreciate tiro voices and singing of the performers, and as is the ease elsewhere they have performed, the items will he hummed over for many a day afterwards. Maoris are exceedingly fond of music, and time is one of their fortes. This can he judged by the manner iu which even the tamarikis (children! keep such unison in their poi dancing. It is inherent in them. Patrons are advised to get in early to secure seats, as it is anticipated there will be a full house. Admission to tho front and upstair seats is 2s, and back ones Is.
