Sportsmen generally throughtout Taranaki will be pleased with the victory of Mr Alexander’s Bisogne m the Stakes at Feilding yesterday, it is some time since Taranaki had a classical winner, and to put down such a flier as Bimeter at weight-for-age, Bisogne must be in the very first class. It is just right that such a good horse should belong to such a genuine sportsman as Mr Alexander undoubtedly is. Good hick to him!
