NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
Leather bag advertised for. Alf. Moon, stationer and fancy goods importer, Broadway, has been very busv lately and the result is to he seen in his large and varied assortment of fancy goods and toys suitable for the coming festive season. The public are, invited to walk through and' inspect the multitude of bargains he has to offer. On page 7 of this issue reference to " S oinp;s-on" at Grubb's will be found. Everybody will be interested in Mr C. E James' seasonable notification on page 6 of this issue. W. Russell, tobacconist and hairdresser, of Broadway, has a special announcement in another column. Tom Davis, butcher, Kohuratahi and Whangamomona, advertises an advance in the price of meat after December 1. H. :\lcYay advertises that he will not he responsible for any debts incurred in his name without his written authority. The Farmers Co-op Organisation Society will hold their Inglewood sale on Wednesday next at 1 p.m. sharp. The N. Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. will hold their Eltham sale on Wednesday nest, when they will sell some very line forward cows, and 'also niseveral ■, lines of yearling and iriprmging heifers.
