COMPULSORY CONFERENCE. Per Press Association. Wellington, November %&. The Drivers' Federation states that the Hon. Mr Hemes, acting-Minister for Labour, has agreed to call a compulsory conference of employers and the men's representatives in the drivers' dispute for Tuesday, the matter to be dealt with on a Dominion basis, and both sides to sttspend hostilities in the meanwhile. Any agreement that may be come to will operate as from next -Monday.
