AMUSEMENTS.

HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE.

A DAWN OF A TO-MORROW.

MARY PICKFORD’S LATEST

Tlie Pickford classic, “A Dawn of a To-morrow,” will be screened tonight and to-morrow night at His Majesty’s Theatre. It is a filmisation of Frances Hidgson Burnett’s well-known novel and play, and the screen adaptation was specially written for ‘‘Little Mary” by the author herself. The New York “Telegraph” said of this picture:—“Those who witnessed ‘The Dawn of a To-morrow’ will want to see Miss Pickford in many more such roles.” Mary Pickford portrays the character of “Glad” the beautiful ragged girl of the London slums. In this feature she outdoes all her performances of recent date, not even excepting her remarkable achievement in “Rags.” Special arrangements have been made by the management to deal with the crowd)i(l houses which invariably result when a “Pickford” season eventuates. An excellent selection of appropriate musical numbers will accompany the unfolding of this feature photo play.
