Press Association—Copyright, Austra lian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received 9.35 a.m.) London, November 16.
King George, Queen Mary, Queen Alexandra and other Royalties, and many notables, including Sir Joseph Ward, attended the.wedding of Prince George of Battenburg and the Countess Nada Torby, daughter of tinGrand Duke Michael. \
Bluejackets from HI.M.S. New Zealand attached a rope to the bridal car and drew it through the streets.
The Wedding is particularly interesting in'; view of the-' relationship oi the bridegroom To His Majesty the King.. They are second cousins, Prince George of'Battenburg being a .sou of Princess Alice, daughter of the late Princess Alice, who was a daughter of the late Queen Victoria and sister of the late King Edward, father of King George. The bridegroom will he remembered in Sew Zealr.nd as an officer on H.M.S. New Zealand during the visit to New Zealand in 1913, which explains the presence of bluejackets from our'^battle-cruiser anil the novel incident after the marriage ceremony. The bridegroom's age is 21. The 'bridge is the daughter of the Grand Duke Michael, of Russia.
