Sasanoff’s Cup victory lias aroused a discussion as to the conditions of the race, some considering that the whole question of handicapping three-year-olds should he revised, and pointing out that if a three-year-old is capable of winning, at weight-for-age and is handicapped below that scale in the Cup, the weight should be readjusted. Sasanoff was handicapped at 6.11 in the Cup, which was 91hs less than the weight-for-age scale, hut he carried 6.12, including one pound overweight. In the action in which James Robinson, bookmaker, questioned the validity of the Australia Jockey Club’s regulation, under which plaintiff’s registration was rescinded, because lit' operated at an unregistered meeting on a date when a registered meeting was held, the Court upheld the Club’s ruling.
