SILENCE OF DEAN MAITLAND
ill Tonight at His Majesty’s Theatre. :a filmatisatinn of one of the greatest modern stage successes will he screened. It is entitled “'Hie Silence of Dean Maitland.” It tells how the friend of the minister suffered in silence. He looks fondly on the minister’s love for his sister, as he had been the minister’s boyhood and college friend. When the dark hour of his friend’s disgrace comes, that friend throws the blame on him. He goes to gaol, like the friend he is, with sealed lips, and endures twenty years’ punishment for the crime he did not commit. Other films to be shown are “With the British Forces in France,” “Jerry’s Millions,” and a film of the moment entitled “Ancient-Monuments of Britain’s Glory.”
