The Premier (Mr Holman) objects to the term “Coalition,” which is always distracted, divided, and shortlived, whereas “National Party” on the lines that formed the BallanceSeddon Government in New Zealand should represent permanent and stable elements in public life.

In the Assembly Mr Wade, on the censure motion, made a strong Imperial speech. He refused to support Mr Durack, the mover of the motion, stating that he refused the tempting bait dangled before bis Party in order to vindicate the cause of the Allies,arid strengthen the ties of Empire. He ‘emphasised -that the National Party would be free from dictation. • . I • ■
