DESTRUCTION AT INVERCARCILL Per Press Association. Jnvcrcargill, November 8. The extensive brick premises oi Messrs Thomas and Coy, wholesale merchants, were gutted by lire this morning. The bulk of the stock was destroyed, and only the walls remain. The insurances amount to .£'29.000 in the Guardian office. The loss is almost a total one.
