Palmerston North, November 8.

Wellington District Headquarters announces that the voluntary enlistmet for the 23rds and the 24ths ceases at midnight on Saturday. The shorages will then be assessed for the different groups, and a ballot to fill same will be taken next week. Voluntary enlistment for the 25ths and the 26ths continues until December 9, but the men so enlisting, if drawn in the ballot will be liable, to serve in the 23rds and 24ths.
