At Gpunake yards on Monday. 0( tober -30, there was a good yarding < cattle of all classes. Very little fai ed to change owners, and high price were realised. We quote: Prime la cows,sold to £ls, fat cows £lO 15s t £l2 15s, forward cows and fresh eon ditioned cows £8,,15s to £lO 10s, stor cows £7 10s to £8 I,os, light stor cows and empty heifers £G 15s to £ 10s, 2-year steers £8 10s to £ll $ s yearling sters £5 17s 6d to £6 10s yearling heifers £4 18s to £G 15s best springing heifers £lO to £l2 others £G 7s Gd to-£8 15s.
At Manaia yards, on Tuesday last we had a fair entry of sto;k. -Chin petition was good, and almost tin
whole yarding was sold under tin' hammer. Fat cows sold at from £ll. to £l4 Is, fresh conditioned cows £0 5s to £lO 12s, forward cows £8 5s to £9. store cows £7 18s to £B, small store cows £7 to £7 15s, fat hoggets 32s Gd, best springing heifers £lO to £l3 10s, store pigs £1 8s to til 14s Gd. woaners 15s Gd, Shorthorn gulls £l2 to £ls, others £lO to £l4.
At Inglewood on 'Wednesday, November Ist, cattle came forward in fnl 1 numbers, and practically everythuig was sold at improved prices. Fat cows £ll to £l2 2s 6d, fresh conditioned cows £9 to £lO ss, forward cows £8 5s to £9, store cows £7 to £8 3s, empty heifers £5 15s to £7, yearling heifers £5 to £0 3s, steers to £6 10s, hpll £7 to £l3 13s. There, was ,a large yarding of dairy cows and heifers. which met with a strong demand and only one head failed to change hands. Best dairy cows sold at from £l2 to £l4 15s, others £8 10s to £ll, best springing heifers £l2 to £l4 ss, others £6 10s to £lO 15s, store .pigs 28s to £2 4s.
At Aurora yards on Friday, ’3O th inst.. there was a good yarding in all departments, and a strong demand tor all classes at ruling high prices, hat cows £l2 to £1,1.105, fresh conditioned cows £9 10s to £lO 10s, forward cows■ £8 10s,to £9 ss; stnro. wws £1 to £S Ss, empty heifers £6 15s to £7 3s, cows and calves £S to £lO 9s, yearling heifers £5 10s to £6 12s 6d, host springing heifers-£l2 to £ls ss, others £9 to £lO 10s, hulls £7 7s to £l2.
