THE WAR LOAN.
CERTIFICATES REALISE £1,081,457.
The sale of War Loan certificates up to the end of October realised £1,031,457. The sales at the various centres are set out in the following table. Wellington, it will be noted, is still an easy first, with sales amounting to nearly a quarter of a million; Christchurch comes next, with £150,317; Dunedin third, with £147,936; and Auckland fourth, with £130,284. InvereargilFs £60,087 is noteworthy, and so are Napier's £57,349. Wanganui's £49,549, New Plymouth's £45,573; Timaru's £40,410. and Nelson's £35,100:
