FOLEY’S PICTURES. A STRONG ATTRACTION. A picture in which battle-scenes play an important part is always popular, and this element is well to the fore in The Triangle Company s liig feature ~ “The Coward,” which was the; 'main attraction at His Majesty’s Theatre last night. Iho film tells, of a son who cannot stand the terrors; of-battle, and a stern old I father who, at the pistol point, loiced him to enlist. The ' boy’s yellow streak causes him to desert and return home. The outraged father then enlSsts in his son’s place, foi the honor 'of the family The play abounds in thrills, whilst the battle scenes with; .accompanying artillery, c'avalry, and infantry in action are magnificentlyv produced. The final scenes between father and son are pathetic in the extreme. An interesting number of the Rathe Gazette, and a comedy entitled “Love and War” lent pleasing variety to the programme which will be shown foi the last time to-night. MANAWATU SHOW.
