RICCARTON TRAINING NOTES. Per Press Association. Christchurch, November 1. The conditions were very wintry for the training work at Riccarton this morning. There was a cold wind with rain showers. The plough was a trifle heavy. Rorke's Drift, . Ringform, and John Barleycorn together went all the way over a mile in 1.48. A large number of others were out, but did only easy work.
