Meitae, of Whakaronga (near Palmers ton Aorth), nas broken the existing year's butter-fat record with his .Jersey cow Mere '.Sir Starlight • 11.—Tiki ), which yielded 12,104 lb. of milk, containing atftfib. 10.240 z. of fat in 305 days. Tne previous record was held by the American Jersey cow Lucky Farce, which produced 14,2601 b. of milk aim 6351 b. il.Boz. of fat in the same period. FARMERS' CO-OP ORGANISATION SOCIETY'S REPORT. On Tuesday, 23rd inst., at Okaiawa, there was a small yarding of stock, which met with a ready sale throughout. We quote: Fat cows sold to £ll 7s, fresh conditioned cows £9 10s to £lO os, forward cows £7 15s to £9, store cows £7 15s to £B, Jersey bulls 10* guineas, hoggets 235. store pigs £1 6s. At Eltham yards on Wednesday, 2oth, there was an average yarding of stock. Competition was keen, and good prices were realised. Fat cows sold at from £lO 15s to £ll 17s, fresh' conditioned cows £9 to £lO 10s, forward cows £8 to £8 18s, store cows £7 to £B, springing heifers £7 to £l4 10s, weaner pigs 12s to 14s, store pigs 20s, Jersey bulls sold to £lO, Holstein bulls £1.2, yearling heifers £5 to £6 10s, steers £6 ss. At Hiawera yards on Thursday, 26th inst., there was a good entry of cattle and sheep. Competition was good, and almost the whole yarding was sold. Prices were on a par with late sales. Fat cows sold at from £ll to £l2 Bs, fresh conditioned cows £9 to £lO 10s, forward cows £8 to £8 18s, store cows £6 17s 6d to £7 15s, "small cows £5 15s to £6 10s, yearling steers £7 14s, yearling heifers £3 18s to £6 10s. The advertised, steers sold at from £l3 2s 6d to £l6 4s, Shorthorn bulls £lO 10s to £ls 15s, Jersey bulls £8 8s to £l2 12s, Holstein bulls £lO to 13£ guineas. Fat sheep: Ewes £1 17s 3d to £1 17s 9d, wethers £1 19s, hoggets 31s 2d .to 32s 3d, best springing heifers £l2 10s to £ls, others £7 10s to £ll, calved heifers £8 10s to £l4, store pigs 26s to 30s, weaner pigs 10s to 19s 6d.
