Press Association—Copyright, AustraHun and N.Z. Cable Association. ' (Received 8.55 rt.m.) . Odessa, October 27.
The Anglo-Russian-Freach Consuls arrived here, being among the las*, to leave Constanza. Tlie last train left for Cernavoda when the enemy were already bombarding the line. Despite ceaseless heavy bombardment of the port, Russian sailors- who remained after the troops and population had gone, did the bravest work in ■ huge grain elevators, stores of cereals, flour, and oil. Refugees state that enemy aeroplanes dropped proclamations on the town, exhorting the Roumanians not to be afraid, as the invaders were their friends.
They also dropped packets of poisoned sweets, bearing false names, intended to denote that they wore of Russian origin.
