“GARDENING IN NEW ZEALAND.” The “.Manual of Gardening in New Zealand,” by David Hancock, F.R.H.S.. of Dunedin, lias just been published by Whitcqmhc ami Tombs, Limited. The hook is admirably and fully illustrated ; and, as it deals with gardening under Dominion conditions, will IkW gladly welcomed by horticulturists generally. One special section of the book is written by A. E. Lowe, F.R.H.S., on “Hardy Bulbs and Garden Foes,” another on “Vegetable and Fruit Growing” is written, by W. Sinclair, ami anoGier on the growing of roses for exhibition is from R. Nicoll. The book may be obtained from local stationers or from the publishers at Christchurch or * Wellington. ,
