In the tournament on the Hawera green on Monday in aid of the patriotic funds, there were thirty-two nominations—or four full rinks; five frames wore played, resulting in the following team winning, coming out without a loss: J. Hicks, Wore, McNiven, W. Robertson (s). Entries and n U'\v odd subscriptions, netted over CI for the Sick and Wounded Fund.
The winners at the bowling tournament on tlie Stratford Croon on Monday, Messrs J. Rowe and J. S. Lyons, handed hack to the club the full value of the prizes, not half tlio value as stated in yesterday's paragraph.
