The War Office reporting on the operations in Egypt states; The Mounteds carried out a reconnaissance at Moghnra, east of Ismalia, and after two night-marches over sandy country, located the enemy on •precipitous hills on the morning of the loth. With aeroplanes co-operating they drove out the enemy with losses. We lost one killed and two wounded, and gained valuable information.
