AMUSEMENTS.
FOLEY’S PICTURES. , ‘ “THE WARNING.” At Hlis Majesty’s Theatre, commencing to-morrow night, there will be presented what has been described by the press as one of ’ the most remarkable and impressive films that has yet been seen on the screen. .The portion of the film tjmt has given rise to this criticism is that in which the principal character is carried beyond the grave into a sensational vision of heaven and hell in the soul—not an inferno of flame, but a hell of mental misery and anguish, of memory and bitter repentance, until he cries to his Maker for another chance. The director created “The Warning” for it is a creation rather than a production, and when his work was finished he had only one comment to offer, “I have created Hell!” “The Warning” is described as the strongest five-reel feature yet produced. The “Gaumont Graphic” and other films will be shown also.
