Bolton, S, C Simms, J. MoPherson. Wounded: Private N Taylor. Seriously ill: Corporal K. C. McNeil. Progressing favourably: Private J. Lester. EXEMPTION COURT. Sydney, October 16. Many claims wero preferred at the opening of the Exemption Court today. The Magistrate conducted the examination in the presence of a military officer. A large number of only sons wee granted relief, and other applications were temporarily postponed. LABELLED "AN ENEMY FIRM." (Received 10.-13 a.m.) Melbourne, October J 7. The High Court by a majority' verdict dismissed the application of the Welsbach Company to be removed from the list of enemy firms.
