A Roumanian communique states: We repulsed the enemy in the TJzuk valley. Our cavalry six times drove back his infantry in the Magsyards defile. We forced the enemy to retreat in the Buzkui valley, repulsed the enemy at Predeal, and he retreated to Timos.

It is believed that the explosives found buried in the garden of the German Legation were imported shortly before Roumanian intervention. They bear the seal of the 1 Foreign Minister at Berlin, and are sufficient to blow up all the public buildings in Bucharest.
