The Committee of the Reichstag discussed the Lille deportations. Herr Helferrich and the representatives of the Home and Foreign Offices contended that the deportations were internationally legal, as there was a shortage of workmen in Germany and idle foreigners could not be allowed to burden the relief funds. It was admitted that blunders were unavoidable.

The Austro-Hungariane repelled the Roumanians on both sides of the Lzurduk Pass. The enemy attempts to attack east of the Monasir-Florina railway failed.
