That it be a Special Order. hi pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 119 of "The Counties Act, 1908," and its amendments, the! Stratford County Council hereby re-l solves as follows : \ That, for purpose of defraying the; cost of repairing portions of the Brookes Road, the Stratford County Council hereby makes and levies a separate rale of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Brookes Becken Separate Rating District, comprising sections 77a, 79a, 80a, 81a, 82a lot 1 of 83a and lots 1. and 2 of 81a of Block I, and sections ,3, 4,5, 8,9, 10, 11, 13 and 15 of Block V., Ngaere Survey District: such rate to be for he year ending 31st March, 1917, tnd to he payable in one sum on the 18th day of October, 1916, at the Joiinty Office, Stratford. The resolution instituting the above special order will be confirmed at a neetiug of the Council to be held on the 18th day of October, 1916, and ihall take effect from and on that date.
