FOLEY S PICTURES. THE STRAIGHT ROAD. The chief item on the list at His Majesty’s Theatre to-uigbt is a superb “Paramount” feature, “The Straight Road,” in which Miss Gladys Hansen appears :u the character of “Moll O’Hara,” a girl of the Now York slums. The story tells in a vivid, forceful manner of the life of a girl whose surroundings are of the lowest, _ whose education and parentage are of the worst, but whose natural instincts lead her to go “straight.” Excellent acting and production, combined with a very human story, makes a successful picture. A good supporting programme includes a screaming cartoon of Charles Chaplin entitled “Charlie’s Barnyard Pets,’”'“The British Army in France,” “One Plus Equals One,” and the latest issue of the “War Gazette.” The usual matinee will be held to-morrow at 1.30.
