STRATFORD RACING CLUB. A meeting of the committee of the above Club was hold on Tuesday last. There were present : Messrs W. H. H. Young (chair), \V. J. Morrison, A. Stewart, S. Pitt, F. A. Maekay, H. E. Abraham, and AV. P. Kirkwood. It was decided to accept the tender of Mr H. H. Hayr, of Auckland, for working the totalisator at tlic New Year meeting. Messrs Kirkwood and Abraham were appointed to bring down detailed report of requirements to buildires anil erections on the course. The report of the Appliance Commit tee was received, and it was derided to purchase a numhei hoard Lorn Messrs Turnbull and Jones. .V committee consisting of Messrs (dorrisi.ii and Kirkwood, with Mr E. C. Robinson, civil engineer, was set op id consider and report on the best means of ensuring a good water-sup-ply to the course.
