SALE OF MR NEWTON KING’S FAMOUS HERD. As 'was expected, a largo gathering of buyers and Holstein fanciers assembled on the farm, Bell Block, to pick np some of the plums of the famous Willowvale herd, which has been sold owing, to the decision of Mr King to go out of the farm for which labor is an ever-increasing difficulty Districts in both Islands were represented, and excellent prices were obtained. Seventy-five lots, which included fifteen calves', realised the sum of £3942 15s. Following are the particulars of the various lots and their buyers:— COWS.
