RETREAT OF THE ENEMY. Rome, October 4. ! An official communique states; Climbing under enemy fire in tins precipitous gullies at the head of Asmon and Brcutvallay, we captured the second peak of the Colbricon. Another force from Carnia, in an outflanking movement, captured a peak ' 2776 metres high near Pizzocolliua (upper). The enemy abandoned his arms and ammunition. A semi-official statement says that ! the capture of the second summit of Golhricon is important, as the enemy trench hitherto prevented any I further advance towards the bottom of the Travignolo Valley, iLe dash ■ of the Italian troops caused the enemy 'to hastily abandon ten strongly ori ganised entrenchments, and to r*I treat along the northern slopes, purj sued by the fire of the Italian batteries.
