FIGHTING MEN FIRST.

The Secretary and Organiser of the National Service League writes an appeal to women as follows:—Many of our brave soldier lads are returning and will only he* able to take up light empoyment. Will you help them all you can to get started again in civil life and make light employment for them. You are the chief shoppers. May we ask you to patronise hussinesses who reinstate then* men or employ returned soldiers. You can create a lot of light employment by trying to buy the goodmade in New Zealand and asking manufacturers to give preference to returned soldiers and you can also help our returned soldiers through out the Empire by insisting on buying good made within the Empire. Please help all you can: our soldiers have proved themselves worthy of our best endeavours.
