The Reservists’ League are renewing their activity and have caused anti-Vonizelist disturbances rt Nanplia and elsewhere. Rome, October 2. During an audience with the Pope, the Latin Archbishop Athens stated that, despite the King’s efforts, Greece would soon be forced to enter the war. The Pope said he would deeply regret such :n extension of the conflict. It is reported that the prolongation of the King’s hesitation is due to the fact hat he hoard strong German forces had been despatched against Ron mania. Newspapers state that the German Minister warned the Government that German submarines would sink steamers conveying volunteers to Salonika. London, October 2. The Times’ correspondent at Athens states that the Provisional Government has extended its authoiitv to Chios and Mitylino.
