BRITISH STILL ATTACKING.
ANOTHER CAPTURE REPORTED.
The High Commissioner reports: — London, September 29 (1.30 p.m.)
A British official report states:— The night was quiet on the greater part of our front. Our posrt>u;\s northwards of Thiepval were heavily shelled. Our bombers are active in the neighbourhood of Schwaben Redoubt, and Hessian Trench, parts of which the enemy still holds. A strongly-defendod farm south-west of Lesars was captured by us early this morning. FRENCH MAKE NEW PROGRESS London, September 29 (2.55 p.m.) A French official report states: On the Somme, we made new progress bewteen 1 Fregicourt and Morval, the artillery bombarding with variable intensity.
