A Roumanian communique states: Oui® retirement ceased south of Petroseny, where we are fortifying positions. Russo-Roumanians sauguninarily repulsed attacks on the whole Dohrudja front, and delivered several counter-attacks at Donohoe. enemy disheartened. (Received 9.25 a.m.) Bucharest. Sepiember 22. The Allies’ gunfire frustrated the Bulgarians’ attempts to dig m -m Dohrudja. The enemy is disheartened at his recent failures,. and did not make fresh infantry assaults.

A Bulgarian communique reports; Fedble isolated actions are reported in Dohrudja. German aeroplanes greatly damaged the railway near Czornavoda.

The Daily Telegraph’s Rome correspondent states that General Mao kensen’s army in Dobrudja is without munitions and food. Roumanian artillery sank food convoys in the Danube, and rains have ruined the roads.
