BOWLING.

NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. Per Press Association. Wellington, September 21. At a meeting of the committee of the New Zealand Bowling" Association, Colonel Collins presided. Mr J. J. Roberts was appointed secretary. It was decided to levy threepence per head on members of affiliated clubs, which would bring in a lion t £l3O per annum. The expenditure varied from '£l2s to £l5O. The committee resolved to hold a tournament this year to' consist of rinks, pairs, and singles, the net profits to be devoted to patriotic purposes.

The Bowling Council decided that the next tournament should start on January 8. with pairs. A motion that a time limit be not introduced was' carried, but the executive was given power to curtail any game which was unduly prolonged.
