Serious rioting occurred among.tljOi tramway strikers on Tuesday night, when five hundred attacked the cars. They threw stones at the subway express and hurled bricks, bolts, and, other missiles at the windows of the elevated. Many passengers were hurt. The police charged and uispersed the mobs with their batons.
