FOLEY'S PICTURES. i THE WILD GOOSE CHASE. Miss Ina Claire, the beautiful and dainty comedienne, who has acquired considerable fame in England and America, was the bright star in the four-part comedy "The Wild Goose Chase," screened for the first time at His Majesty's Theatre, last night. The film which is a humorous romance of the stage, strikes quite a new strata in film comedy, and was much appreciated by the audience. "The Muffled Bell" is an exciting detective drama, with a finish which is thrilling in the extreme. "The War Gazette" included some excellent living photographs of Australia's premier (.Mr Hughes), also Russia's army in the field, their marching over the Carpathians being a magnificent sight. The items by the orchestra were again a feature of the programme, which will be screened for the last time tonight. THE DANDIES. TO-NIGHT. "The Dandies" will appear in the Town Hall to-night. The programme presented by these versatile artists is characterised by brightness and vivacity. They are a light-hearted body, whose reputation as masters in the art of entertaining is firmly established. This evening's performance will 1)0 identical with those given in the larger centres, the clioiee of items being admirably varied. The artists to appear this evening are, Miss Lily Fitzgerald, operatic soprano ; Miss Ida Newton, soubrette; Mr Robert Agnew, tenor; Mr Marshall Lawrence, baritone; Mr Ford Waltham, basso; Mr John Campbell, light comedian; -Mr Joseph Brennan, character comedian and monologuist; and Mr Philip Hardman, pianist. Included in to-night's programme is a selection from Gounod's "Faust." The excellent reputation standing to the credit of "The Dandies" should ensure a large audience when they appear to-night. Seats may be reserved iat Grubb's.
