The inter-State Commerce Commission reports that the total railway earnings for the past fiscal year amounted to 11/0 millions ) representing a gain of 266 per cent, over the previous year. It is the first time the .earnings reached a billion. The railwaymen say they were justified in their recent threat to strike for higher wages.
BOMB IN NEW YORK SUBWAY.
