The War Trade Statistical Bureau’s returns show that the increased export from the United States to Neutrals was wholly due to the cutting off of supplies from belligerent countries. The figures bear out the official contention that the Neutrals increased their imports only to meet their legitimate needs, and that the Blockade’s efficacy was unimpaired.
