ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.

A nasty accident, which might, easily have ended fatally (states the Riyerlea correspondent of the IH'awera Star), happened on Saturday on the Opunake-Stratford road at the elbow between the Mangawhero and Auroa loads, where Mr S. Forsyth and a party of Egmont County employees, who were making a round of the Kltham County roads, and also inspecting the Auroa road, had a serious capsize, owing to the sharpness of the turn. All were severely knocked 11 bout, and the car was seriously damaged.
