STRATFORD A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Stratford A. and'P. Association was held last evening when the. president (Mr E. Jackson) occupied, the chair. The president reported on the result of tjip,canvass for s pec iol'>l orations and'it waf considered highly satisfactory. ' The following new members were elected: Messrs J. Korolesksi, E. A. Chard, F. W. Green x G. Robertson, N. P.'ciiristensen, C. E. Fowler, L. A. Fowler, W. Stock, S. A. Gooding, L. 0. Franks and Miss L. A. Neiison. It was decided to close the hay paddock on Scptembor 20, thereby ensuring a good supply of green feed. The Executive Committee decided to invite the members of 'the General -Committee to' visit the Show ,Grounds in Saturday, September 16, at 11 a.m. with thet object of. pointing out the improvements done by the working bee. , The appointment bf judges was considered highly satisfactory.' The schedule has been revised and several new classes added and matters are well in hand for the forthcoming show. ;•'' "'"'•"' Mr R. Masters reported on an interview with Mr Deeme re the establishment of a model dairy farm. The executive decided to ask. local bodies and dairy factories within the Stratford County to appoint;delegates, to confer with the''executive of the: A. and P. Association on the question of the establishment" of a model dairy farm. \ The chairmen of the different sections were asked to attend a committee meeting on Thursday next at l'i p.m. for the purpose of allotting prizes. The secretary was instructed to send a letter of condolence to Mr. and Mrs. Grif Jones-m the-death of; their son.
