Sir Ernest Shacklotou telegraphs that he reached Wilde’s camp on the 3(jth; also that lie is telegraphing Wilde’s full report. Shacklotou informed the King ot the rescue under Divine providence ot his comrades, and thanked His Majesty for hi s gracious message and kindly interest. Shacklotou added thaC the Party’s safety was primarily due to Wilde’s leadership, tact, and force of character.
