At the Skeffington inquiry, Lieutenant Dobbin, who is 29 years of age, replying to the elnirman, said he did not defend the prisoners becaura Colt hurst was his superior, officer, but he was not actually ordered to give them up. Colthurst simply said he wanted the prisoners and .took them. Witness knew that Colthurst was doing wrong, hut was not in a position to say so to a superior officer. He admitted he heard rumor tint Colthurst had previously shot a boy in the street. The inquiry has closed.
